OPENING DAY


CARDIFF CITY vs FULHAM (Cardiff City Stadium - Sat, 8th August 2015)

Undoubtedly the day each football fan is truly looking forward to at this precise moment. Fulham's visit to Cardiff City Stadium last season was a superb day in the history of Cardiff City Football Club, and we'll be hoping the opening 2015/16 league fixture follows suit.

SEVERNSIDE DERBY RETURNS


CARDIFF CITY vs BRISTOL CITY (Cardiff City Stadium - Sat, 24th October 2015)

The first Severnside derby since 2013 will take place at Cardiff City Stadium in October as Steve Cotterill's side make the 88 mile round trip. Fraizer Campbell's double ensured back in February 2013 ensured the bragging rights currently sit with the Bluebirds going into this Autumn fixture.

THE BLUEBIRDS TRAVEL TO ELLAND ROAD


LEEDS UNITED vs CARDIFF CITY (Elland Road - Tues, 3rd November 2015)

In unique circumstances, Cardiff City defeated Leeds United, 2-1, in April 2015 - completing the double over the Yorkshire side following on from a 3-1 victory at CCS earlier in the campaign. This is sure to be a highly competitive fixture as usual, with plenty of support from the Bluebirds fans.

BOXING DAY


MK DONS vs CARDIFF CITY (Stadium:MK - Sat, 26th December 2015)

After the festive period, Cardiff City head to Stadium:MK for the first time, facing off against Karl Robinson's MK Dons. City and the Dons have done battle twice in Cup competition, with two wins for the Bluebirds, but this will be the first ever league meeting.

A NEW YEAR


CARDIFF CITY vs BLACKBURN ROVERS (Cardiff City Stadium - Sat, 2nd January 2016)

As 2016 begins, both Cardiff City and Blackburn Rovers will be hoping to be amongst the challenging pack at the top end of the Sky Bet Championship. Both 2014/15 battles between these two teams ended all square - Tom Cairney levelling for Rovers at Ewood Park after Kenwyne Jones' goal before former City forward Rudy Gestede came back to spoil the Bluebirds party with a late equaliser in February's return fixture at CCS.

BRISTOL BECKONS



BRISTOL CITY vs CARDIFF CITY (Ashton Gate - Sat, 5th March 2016)

Our first league defeat of the 2012/13 season came away at Bristol City, while the season ended in triumph. City fans will fondly remember the 2010 match at Ashton Gate in which Peter Whittingham, Ross McCormack, Michael Chopra and co hit the Robins for six with skipper David Marshall keeping a clean sheet. 

THE FINAL DAY



CARDIFF CITY vs BIRMINGHAM CITY (Cardiff City Stadium - Sat, 7th May 2016)

Nearly 11 months away, but the thought of the final day already stirs up so many potential 'What ifs'. The Bluebirds earned four points against Birmingham City in 2014/15!

F.A. CUP FINAL

Another key date in the footballing calendar is the F.A. Cup final - the pinnacle in cup competitions in the league system. Cardiff City have lifted this proud trophy on one occasion, in 1927 (the only Welsh side to do so) while finishing runners up in 1925 & 2008.
