RUSSELL: OUR SPIRIT WILL BE KEY

Following the Bluebirds’ point on the road at Ipswich Town, City manager Russell Slade spoke to Cardiff City Player HD to preview Tuesday evening’s trip to Leeds.

Russell was in optimistic spirits as he underlined his side’s togetherness, which he feels will stand them in good stead at Elland Road.

“It was a really competent performance away from home,” began Russell. “The momentum is still with us, we just need to turn one or two of those draws into wins and we’ll be up and running.

“That’s something that we need to keep addressing – having a bit more creativity and putting away the chances that come our way.

“It’s always eventful when we meet with Leeds. It’ll be another tough game, but we’ve got a really good group of players, who play together with great spirit. That’s what we’ll need again on Tuesday.”

The Cardiff City Ticket Office will stop selling tickets for Elland Road tomorrow at 12 noon. Meanwhile, tickets can still be bought for the Beam-Back at Cardiff City Stadium in person at the Ticket Office or by calling 0845 345 1400.
