Belgian youth international Weymans joins the Bluebirds...
Cardiff City Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of Marco Weymans, subject to international clearance.The eighteen year old midfielder links up with the Bluebirds after coming through the Academy of Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven, and has signed a three year deal at Cardiff City Stadium that runs until the summer of 2018.
Weymans is a Belgian U19 international, who can play in midfield and defence. The new Bluebirds signing was thrust into the limelight earlier this year after scoring from his own half for Belgium's U19 squad during a European Championship Qualifier against Sweden. He will join up with Kevin Nicholson's U21 squad for the 2015/16 season.
