FOUR POINTS FROM WOLVES AND MILLERS




The Bluebirds finished the week on forty-one points, just five off the play-offs, having defeated Wolves and drawn with Rotherham United in the space of seven days.

IMMERS IS A BLUEBIRD



On Thursday, Cardiff City confirmed their first January signing, as Lex Immers joined on loan from Feyenoord Rotterdam.

The forward made his first Bluebirds appearance against Rotherham, making sure to do the Ayatollah, before playing a role in the build-up to Anthony Pilkington’s equalising strike.

CONNOLLY SIGNS NEW DEAL



Tuesday morning saw the news that Matt Connolly has extended his contract in the Welsh capital until the summer of 2019.

CITY’S U18s SECURE ADDICKS WIN



On Friday afternoon, Cardiff City’s U18s came from behind to defeat Charlton Athletic at Sparrows Lane, with Jamie Bird and Lloyd Humphries on the score-sheet in a 2-1 victory.

Bird’s strike was his fourth in two games, following a hat-trick in the U18s’ 5-0 win over Crystal Palace last week, including a sublime individual goal from kick-off which you can watch here.

The U18s are next in action against Liverpool in the FA Youth Cup on Wednesday.

HOUSE OF SPORT 3 OPENS



Finally, on Monday, Cardiff City House of Sport continued its evolution with the official opening of its third phase - House of Sport 3.
