Making sure Christmas reaches every child...

The Big Wrap provides presents to disadvantaged children and young people (0-19) at Christmas.

Last year, with thanks to the support of the Bluebirds fans and the club, over 350 children were supported.

Working in partnership with local agencies, the Big Wrap is run by volunteers and relies entirely on donations from local organisations and members of the public.

Presents will be given to children and young people identified by front line care professionals, including social workers, local charities and churches.

Regarding this year's campaign, Susan Lloyd-Selby, the Big Wrap coordinator, said “We are delighted to be running the Big Wrap in partnership with Cardiff City Football Club again this year. Every present we receive will be given to a child or young person who might otherwise receive nothing or very little for Christmas. We would like to thank the team and its supporters in advance – with your help, we can make sure Christmas reaches even more children this year.”

The Big Wrap is happy to receive toys (which should be new and unwrapped) and gift tokens or financial donations. Donations can be taken to the Vale Civic Offices,Holton Road, Barry and the Cardiff City SuperStore (non match-days, Ninian Stand Booth on match-days) any time up until December 16th.
