A MINUTE'S SILENCE

This Wednesday evening, ahead of kick-off, a minute’s silence will be held in memory of those who lost their lives in the Aberfan disaster of 1966.

Supporters of both sides are kindly asked to take their seats promptly ahead of the game's 7.45pm kick-off so as to observe the tribute.

Players of Cardiff City FC and Sheffield Wednesday FC will wear black armbands as a mark of respect, ahead of the fiftieth anniversary of the disaster this Friday, 21st October.
