Peltier: We're fighting for everything

Lee Peltier was on press conference duties on Friday morning ahead of Saturday’s trip to Bolton Wanderers.

He began by looking ahead at the Bluebirds’ busy festive calendar, with successive home clashes with Fulham and Preston North End to follow next week.

“We’re all ready and looking forward to it,” began Lee. “Obviously Christmas is a busy period. We’re just taking it each game at a time, concentrating on us and what we need to do.

“We’ll try and take three points from each game and see where that takes us at the end of the season. We’ve got a great squad - we’ve had a lot of injuries but the players that have come in have done brilliantly. That shows a great team spirit as everyone is fighting for everything.”

When asked how pleased he is to be in the Sky Bet Championship promotion places at Christmas, Lee continued: “You know you’ve got yourself in a great position, and there’s a chance of us doing something that could change people’s lives.

“The fact of the matter is, we are in a good position but we’ve just got to maintain it, keep working hard and doing everything we’ve done to get ourselves in this position.”
