National Poetry Day 2018…

The Bluebirds Charity teamed up with Adamsdown Primary School last week as the U.K celebrated National Poetry Day.

Year 6 pupils gave a brilliant rendition of “Resilience” by Rachel Riley from the Premier League’s “Try, try again” poetry book.

Brothers Project visit CCS…

We also welcomed the Brother’s Project for a tour and workshop at Cardiff City Stadium last week.

Run by Charter Housing, the Brother’s Project is tailored to help young people aged between 15 and 25 to learn more about domestic abuse, poor mental health, ASB and roles, responsibilities and expectations of young men.

Tea and Toast continues…

The Bluebirds Charity also had another great turn out at our T’n’T (Tea and Toast) morning at Cardiff City Stadium.

As part of our Veteran’s Project, the mornings are run to re-connect ex-servicemen and women in a social environment.

Primary Teacher’s Award CPD

We’re also running another CPD in partnership with the FA, to help primary school teachers vary their P.E sessions.

The CPD will take place at House of Sport, with teachers taking part in both practical and theory sessions across the day.
