Premier League Primary Stars returns to schools

Our delivery of the Premier League Primary Stars Project returned for the new academic year last week, as the Bluebirds Charity continued their support with a number of schools across South Wales.

The sessions are designed to use the appeal of the Premier League to inspire children to learn, be active and develop important life skills as well as falling under the Bluebirds Charity aim to help children, young people and families achieve their full potential.

Sporting Memories: Veterans' Project launches

Last week also saw our first 'tea and toast' session with our Sporting Memories: Veterans' Project participants.

The Foundation teamed up with Royal British Legion to engage with socially isolated retired and ex-armed forces personnel.

You can find out more about the project here.

Learners visit Cardiff and Vale College Freshers Fayre

We welcomed a number of new learners onto our education courses last week and took them along to Cardiff and Vale College’s Freshers Fayre.

The learners are enjoying their first few weeks studying with the Bluebirds Charity, which combines learning with sport in the form of BTEC Sport studies and Futsal or Netball sessions.
