* Burnley’s top goalscorer so far this season is Ashley Barnes! The striker has scored 10 goals for Burnley during the 2018/19 season in the Premier League and has had two assists also.

* Víctor Camarasa is Cardiff City’s top goalscorer so far this season! The Spanish midfielder has scored five goals for the Bluebirds, and has had three assists!

* Sean Dyche is Burnley’s manager. The former player has been in charge at the club since 2012, having previously managed Watford.

* Dyche has seen the Clarets promoted twice to the Premier League, at the end of the 2013-14 and 2015-16 seasons!

* At the end of last season, Burnley finished seventh on the Premier League table. They then qualified to play in the Europa League second qualifying round, losing the knockout stage 4-2 on aggregate against Greek side Olympiacos.

* The Burnley player with the most appearances of all time is goalkeeper Jerry Dawson, who played 569 times for the Clarets in all competitions between 1907-28!

* The Cardiff City player with the most appearances of all time is Billy Hardy, who played in 590 matches in all competitions for the Bluebirds between 1911-1932. Hardy was a part of the side that won the FA Cup Final against Arsenal on April 23rd, 1927!

* Burnley have kept seven clean sheets this season in the Premier League, whilst Cardiff City have kept eight!

* Josh Murphy was the last Cardiff City player to score against Burnley, when we last played against them in September!

* The last Cardiff City player to score against Burnley at Turf Moor was Craig Conway! The Scottish winger made 58 league appearances for the Bluebirds between 2011-14. Conway's goal secured the 2013 Championship title for the Bluebirds!
