Hey Junior Bluebirds! On Sunday we travel up to Old Trafford to face Manchester United in our final match of the 2018/19 season! If you're going up to the match I hope that you have a safe trip and a great time supporting our boys for one last time before the summer break! With that in mind, let's have a look at some facts about both of the teams!

* Paul Pogba is Manchester United's top goalscorer so far this season! The French international player has scored 13 goals so far this season, breaking his previous record of eight goals, which he achieved for two seasons in a row at Juventus.

* The most league goals a Manchester United player has scored in a season is 32! Dennis Viollet achieved the feat over the 42-match 1959-60 First Division season for the Red Devils. Cristiano Ronaldo went close to this record when he netted 31 Premier League goals in 2007/08.

* The most league goals a Cardiff City player has scored in a season is 31! Robert Earnshaw broke City's record over the course of the 46 match 2002-03 season, in the Football League Second Division.

* Manchester United's manager is Ole Gunnar Solskjær! The former Norwegian international played for United between 1996-2007, and scored the winner for the Red Devils in the 1999 UEFA Champions League Final against Bayern Munich. Of course, he will be familiar to City fans having managed at CCS in 2014 for nine months.

* David de Gea has made the most appearances this season out of Manchester United's squad! The Spanish goalkeeper has started in all 37 matches so far in the Premier League season, and has kept seven clean sheets.

* City's 'keeper has also started in all league matches so far this season as well! Neil Etheridge has a fine record of nine clean sheets over the course of the 37 matches!

* Manchester United are currently placed sixth on the Premier League table, with 66 points. Last season, the club finished second behind rivals Manchester City.

* Cardiff City's player with the most Premier League appearances at the Club is Aron Gunnarsson! The Icelandic international has made a total of 50 appearances in the league between this season and City's last Premier League season in 2013-14.

* Manchester United's Premier League appearance record holder is Ryan Giggs! Between 1992-2014 the current Wales manager made 632 Premier League appearances for his side.

* The last Cardiff City player to score against Manchester United was Víctor Camarasa in December 2018 at CCS!
