A round-up of the past week at Cardiff City FC...


CITY 2-0 PRESTON NORTH END


 
On Tuesday, a goal of the season contender from Kenneth Zohore sealed Cardiff City's 2-0 victory over Preston North End at Cardiff City Stadium.
 
Peter Whittingham's early penalty had given the Bluebirds the advantage, before Zohore's incredible solo effort stunned the Lilywhites and secured the points.

THE ANGLO-CELTIC ESPORTS CUP


This week, we were delighted to launch the Anglo-Celtic eSports Cup - a competition in which 32 representatives (16 each of Cardiff City & Bristol City) will battle in a tournament of FIFA and football skills.

The first ever Anglo-Celtic eSports Cup will take place at Cardiff City Stadium on Friday, 24th February 2017.

To apply, we asked you to send a short clip of either your best FIFA 17 goal, or your best piece of football skill. The deadline is now CLOSED, with the sixteen winning applicants being announced early next week.

DVP | CITY 1-1 MILLWALL


On Monday Cardiff City's U23/DVP side battled to a 1-1 draw with Millwall at the Leckwith International Stadium.

Jamie Veale's first-half penalty gave City the advantage in the game, before the Lions equalised twenty minutes from time.

CITY 0-1 NORWICH CITY



The Bluebirds slipped to their first home league defeat of the year against Alex Neil’s play-off chasing Norwich City.

The match also saw us welcome home City icon Andy Legg, who spoke to the Bluebirds support on the pitch ahead of kick-off.
