German striker Robert Glatzel became a Bluebird in late July 2019, arriving from 1. FC Heidenheim.
Born in Fürstenfeldbruck, Glatzel began his career with local teams 1860 München and SpVgg Unterhaching. The striker joined 1. FC Kaiserslautern in 2015, scoring 27 goals in the reserve team before making his first team debut.
Robert joined Heidenheim in 2017 and enjoyed a breakthrough season in 2018/19. He scored 17 goals in 29 League and Cup appearances, including a hat-trick at the Allianz Arena in a thrilling match against Bayern München.
Standing at 6'4" inches, Robert possesses an imposing physical presence and a keen eye for goal. He has committed to the club until at least the summer of 2022.
