Experienced midfielder Marlon Pack arrived at Cardiff City Stadium in August 2019 from Bristol City.
The twenty-eight-year-old began his career with his local club, Portsmouth, but gained experience away from Fratton Park through a number of loan spells. The most prominent move was to Cheltenham Town, where Pack made thirty-eight appearances in the 2010-11 season, subsequently earning himself a permanent move to Whaddon Road.
Following a further two full seasons at Cheltenham, in both of which he featured in the PFA League Two Team of the Season, Marlon made the transfer to Bristol City in 2013. He featured in forty-three matches as the Robins earned promotion in 2013-14 and went on to consolidate his position as a midfield mainstay over the past four Championship seasons.
After over two hundred and seventy appearances at Ashton Gate, including an ever-present Championship season in 2018-19, Pack signed for the Bluebirds on Deadline Day to become Neil Warnock’s eighth summer signing.
