Jai Semenyo joined Cardiff City's U23 side in June 2021, following a successful trial period in the youth setup.

He made his debut at senior level in the Emirates FA Cup clash with Liverpool on February 6th, 2021, and began the 2022/23 season as a regular for the U21 side under Darren Purse's management.
