Date of birth
Captain of the Gabon national side, for whom he has over 65 caps, Bruno moved to South Wales on the final day of the 2014 summer transfer window.
After starting his career at FC 105 Libreville in his homeland, Bruno made the move to France where he initially spent time at Bordeaux and Rodez AF. However, he first made his name at SCO Angers, prior to signing for FC Lorient two years later as a replacement for the outgoing Laurent Koscielny.
It was as captain of FC Lorient that Bruno established his reputation as a top class centre-half, racking up 118 league appearances for the Club and attracting plenty of suitors. Cardiff City eventually won the race for his signature, and he went on to impress fans in the capital immediately as he quickly became an integral part of the Bluebirds’ defensive unit.
Bruno was voted as the Club's 2016 'Player of the Season'.
