Neil Warnock was appointed as Cardiff City’s First Team Manager on 5th October, 2016.
The sixty-eight year old has a wealth of managerial experience, having taken charge of fourteen other clubs prior to arriving in South Wales. He first made the move into the dugout at Gainsborough Trinity in 1980, following a playing career that saw him make three hundred and twenty-seven career league appearances at eight different clubs.
Warnock has earned promotion on seven separate occasions, famously leading Notts County to successive Play-Off victories to reach the First Division in 1991, and taking both Sheffield United (2005/06) and QPR (2010/11) to the Premier League. Before joining the Bluebirds, Warnock most recently led Rotherham United to Championship survival with an eleven-game unbeaten run, having joined the club in February 2016.
