Zumbathon at CCS in support of Breast Cancer care Cymru

Get ready for the new Barclays Premier League season by taking part in our ‘Zumbathon’ in aid of Breast Cancer Care Cymru on Saturday 20th July in the car park at Cardiff City Stadium.

The event, which will take place in zone D of the club’s main car park, will raise money for the Breast Cancer charity with all welcome to take part and participate in the fun-filled dance fitness program sweeping the nation alongside mascots Bartley and Zoe Lou.

Radio Cardiff will also be at the ground to provide a musical accompaniment with face painting and other football based activities also available for kids.

Speaking on the event, Charity Manager Katyann Owens said: “We are very pleased to be supporting Breast Cancer Care Cymru in this fantastic and innovative way to raise money and we are encouraging all to join in, not just the ladies!

“Children over 8 are welcome too and the men can either join in or bring the kids along to support the ladies and soak up the atmosphere here at Cardiff City Stadium.

“The work that the charity does touches so many lives in Wales, including many of us personally and therefore any money raised will go to a good cause.”

Rachel Power of Breast Cancer Care Cymru said: “We are so excited about the Zumbathon, Cathie Quinlan who is organising the event is truly amazing and is so dedicated to supporting Breast Cancer Care.

“We are extremely grateful to Cardiff City Football Club for their continued support and for allowing us to hold the event at the club.”
