The Bluebirds announced the signing of right back Mahlon Romeo from Millwall on 15th June, 2022.

Born in London, the 28-year-old came through the youth ranks with Gillingham before returning to the English capital with the Lions in 2015.

Romeo made 221 appearances in total in a seven-year spell at The Den. Mahlon, who spent the 2021/22 campaign on loan with Portsmouth in League One, has made twelve appearances for the Antigua and Barbuda national team, having made his international debut in June 2015.

Mahlon made 33 appearances in his first season in South Wales, with a further 18 outings during the 2023/24 campaign.
