How to activate and top up your card
Cardiff City Football Club is delighted to launch My Bluebirds Rewards!
The new loyalty and incentives programme is now live for Season Ticket Holders and Club Members, starting from the 2021/22 season, with fans receiving their Season Ticket Card on the week commencing 13th September.
Your new Season Ticket Card also operates as a pre-paid card that you can load funds onto and spend with affiliate partners, this is powered by Pingit for Clubs from Barclays. Fans must register their card to activate the payment service via the club app subject to Barclays eligibility requirements and terms & conditions; simply click Manage Pre-Paid Card on the app and follow the steps.
The card will enable members to accelerate their loyalty point earnings by using the pre-paid card at Cardiff City Stadium, the SuperStore and at any location that accepts Visa as a payment method. Fans will earn loyalty points based on specific interactions with the Club, which they can then redeem for exclusive rewards or money-can’t-buy experiences on the My Bluebirds Rewards portal.
Fans can earn 150 loyalty points for activating their new card for payment, 50 points for their first-time spend using the card and 1 point per £1 spent with affiliate retailers. There will be promotional loyalty point offers with affiliate retailers throughout the season too!
You can add money on to your card by selecting the ‘Top up’ button on the ‘Manage Card’ screen in the ‘Manage Pre-Paid Card’ area of the club app. Or you can set up a regular top up amount when your balance falls below a chosen amount by selecting ‘Auto Top-up’. If you choose to use this feature, once the balance of your Pingit for Clubs card falls below the value you’ve set, the app will automatically top up your Pingit for Clubs card using your chosen debit card so that you can continue to make transactions.
Fans will need a Bluebirds Club Account linked to their Fan ID in order to log in to the portal and manage their pre-paid card.
