HELGUSON BACK IN XI v FOREST

Club News

Malky Mackay makes one change to the starting line-up for today’s encounter with Nottingham Forest as Heidar Helguson comes into the central striking role in place of Joe Mason who drops to the bench. Mason had started the previous two matches in the place of injured Fraizer Campbell, but today misses out to make way for the experienced Icelandic International up-front.

Elsewhere the team remains unchanged which means Helguson will be supported by Craig Bellamy and Tommy Smith while Kim Bo-Kyung and Jordon Mutch continue their fledgling midfield partnership also. At the back Kevin McNaughton continues at right back in the place of injured Matthew Connolly while Leon Barnett, now confirmed to be with the club on-loan until the conclusion of the season is once again paired with Ben Turner.

In an attacking looking bench, Rudy Gestede, Joe Mason, Craig Noone and Craig Conway are all available to make a potential impact.
