IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME COMING

Club News
Our last Cardiff City Stadium fixture against Ipswich Town was on Saturday January 12th, so if you're not one of the regular travelling 'City fans, it's been a long time since you've had a chance to catch the senior team in action.

Like the popular bus proverb, we've next got two home fixtures on our doorstep. First up is the challenge of Bristol City on Saturday - don't forget the 1pm kick-off folks - followed closely on Tuesday night as we host Brighton & Hove Albion under the stadium lights.

For both games the message is clear: WE WANT YOU HERE!

We'll be looking forward to seeing you all, starting on Saturday with Bristol City as the Robins bring 2,000 to CCS. We need as many of you here as possible to out sing the Bristol fans and are currently expecting a crowd of around 25,000. Here's to a big four days and as many points as possible.

On Saturday we will be welcoming back Shaolin Fists Lion Troupe to perform a lion and dragon dance as a part of Chinese New Year celebrations - 2013 being the year of the snake.

The dance is a ceremony that is seen to ward off evil spirits, while bringing good health, fortune and prosperity, ushering the new year in the right way. The troupe were our guests at the start of the season as we turned on the new stadium lights for the first time - and as it was the start of a ten game home winning run, we're very happy to see a repeat performance this weekend.

Watch out for the troupe who will also be performing at half time and making a trip to the Family Stand.
