FAW YOUTH CUP - CITY GET NEWPORT

City's Academy have been drawn away to face local rivals Newport County in the FAW Youth Cup second round on Wednesday, 30th October 2013, kick-off 7pm.

The second round tie will take place at Newport Stadium, Spytty Park.

City's under-18s made it through to the second round of the competition following an impressive first round 6-1 victory over Treowen Stars on Sunday, 29th September, a hat-trick from Eli Phipps in the first-half firmly putting City in command. An Ellis Bellamy brace and strike from Gary Lavoury completed a comprehensive victory at Cardiff Athletic Stadium.
