SAINTS TRAVEL INFORMATION

11 April 2014

Important information for Saturday train travellers

Fans looking to travel to Cardiff City’s Barclays Premier League clash with Southampton this Saturday, 12th April by train, have been advised to take note of the following travel information.

This Saturday, there will be major engineering works in the Southampton area which subsequently will see no trains entering Southampton’s Central train station.

Therefore, hourly First Great Western services from South Wales to Portsmouth Harbour that usually travel via Southampton will now divert to Eastleigh, with a replacement bus service in place to take passengers to Southampton Central – providing expected delays to your trip to St Mary’s Stadium.

It is suggested that if you still wish to travel by train to the South Coast on Saturday that your leave time accordingly to factor in the expected delays.

For up to the minute travel information on Saturday on the situation, you can follow South West Trains on twitter (@SW_trains). We’ll also keep you abreast of any further information as we get it via our official twitter account @CardiffCityFC.
