City full-back in squad for friendly clash with the Netherlands

City’s 18-year-old full-back Declan John has been named in Chris Coleman’s Wales squad for their upcoming friendly clash with the Netherlands in Amsterdam on Wednesday, 4th June.

Recently named the Bluebirds’ Cardiff City Young Player of the Year for 2013-14, John has one senior cap to his name after making his debut against Macedonia in October.

John made his second Under-21 appearance for his country on Monday night, playing the full 90 minutes of the Under-21s 3-1 defeat to England.
