Cardiff City's U21 side fell to a 1-0 defeat against Brentford FC this evening.
A single-goal from experienced forward Nick Proschwitz settled the match, while goalkeeper Jack Bonham kept the Bluebirds at bay with an inspired performance.
City remain two points behind Swansea City Football Club in the PDL2 South table, with a game in hand.
