With the 2015/16 Sky Bet Championship season fast approaching, Cardiff City Foundation will soon be taking bookings for Mascot and Player Escort experiences upon fixtures being released on Wednesday, 17th June 2015. Two mascot positions & eight player escort positions will be available for each of the Home Sky Bet Championship Fixtures for the 2015/16 season.
Mascot & Player Escort Experiences 2015/16 Season
To be eligible for a Mascot or Player Escort experience children must be:
- Aged between 4 & 10 years old
- Have not taken up a position within the previous two seasons (13/14 & 14/15)
The cost of the match day Mascot Experience is £250.00, with the following items included in the package:
- Cardiff City Home Kit (shirt, shorts & socks)
- Family Ticket (4 Tickets)
- Mounted Photograph
- DVD of pre match activities, tunnel walk out and match highlights**
- Letter & certificate of participation
- Match Day Programme (Including programme write up)
- Cardiff City Goody Bag
- Big Screen Display
- Autograph & Photograph Opportunities with Cardiff City FC First Team Players
**Please note that footage from the tunnel walk out isn’t always accessible due to broadcasting rights**
The cost of the match day Player Escort position is£175.00, with the following items included in the package:
- Cardiff City Home Kit (shirt, shorts & socks)
- Family Ticket (4 Tickets)
- Mounted Photograph
- Letter & certificate of participation
- Cardiff City Goody Bag
Booking your Mascot Experience
Please note that the Cardiff City Community Foundation will not be taking any bookings (Telephone or otherwise) when the fixtures are released at 9.00am on Wednesday, 17th June 2015. Information is shown below on how to register your interest for a Mascot or Player Escort Position.
Upon release of fixtures please send an email tomatchday.packages@cardiffcityfc.org.ukstating the following:
- Name (child & parent/guardian)
- Child’s age,
- Preferred Position (Mascot or Player Escort)
- Parent/guardian preferred contact telephone number and email address
- 1st and 2nd choice Sky Bet championship home fixture you would like to purchase and the position
Draw Process
Wednesday, 17th June 2015 until midnight on Thursday, 18th June 2015
- Email application window is open
Friday 19th June 2015
- Applications will be drawn at random
- The first two applications drawn will qualify for the two available mascot positions, with the next 8 qualifying for player escort positions
- *Please note if an applicant is drawn for their first choice position, they will not be eligible for another position*
- The one remaining position will be offered to an external charity
Monday 22nd June 2015
- All qualifying entries will be contacted to confirm their position via email.
- If position is declined then it will go to the next available person.
- Once drawn for a position you won’t be eligible for another.
Please note that the above process is the only way in which you can purchase a Mascot or Player Escort Experience during the 2015/2016 Sky Bet Championship Season.
