St Cyres School’s Teachers produce a Christmas music video in aid of Children in Need 2015

After the success of their first music video for Sport Relief 2014 which raised nearly £800, five members of staff at St Cyres School have made another video in aid of this year’s Children in Need.

The band, named Wrong Direction donned their best Christmas attire (including a Cardiff City scarf!), filming their festive cover of Stay Another Day by East 17 to entertain and raise funds for an excellent cause.

The man in the Bluebirds scarf is City fan, Jason Erickson, who teaches Techology at the school alongside his colleagues and fellow band-members Richard Hopkin, Harry Withers, Matt Bolton and Robert Glaves.

Music teacher Mr Hopkin, who was responsible for the filming and editing of the video said: “St Cyres School always gets involved in charity events. It is an amazing teaching and learning environment that leads the way with new technology, and we just had to test out the Drama studio and Apple editing software!”
