Following Cardiff City’s 2-0 victory over Reading on Saturday, David Marshall spoke to Cardiff City Player HD, pleased with both his 'Man of the Match' performance and City's three points.

The Bluebirds have only lost once in their last eight matches, conceding just three goals in the process, and the skipper was confident that improved performances will continue following the international break.

“The first goal was always important with the attacking players that Reading have," began the 'keeper. "We thought that they would probably have chances.

“It’s great to take a result after Tuesday because we’ve been in a bit of sticky patch. There’s not a lot between the top ten sides in this division, so little things in games can make a big difference, and the league now looks a lot better after that result.

“I’m really happy with my form, and I’m sure that we can put together a good run to get back into the play-offs and give it a good shot this year.”
