U21 | YOUNG BLUEBIRDS CONTINUE IMPRESSIVE RUN WITH LATE WINNER

Club News

Cardiff City's U21 development side made it three wins on the bounce, defeating Ipswich Town at Leckwith Stadium on Monday afternoon, thanks to a late Jamie Veale goal.

For the second week running, the young Bluebirds replicated the result of the first team squad. Kevin Nicholson's men had fought hard throughout the match, and picked up the deserved victory when substitute Veale arrowed a half volley into the bottom right corner of the goal, past Town 'keeper Michael Crowe.

Cardiff City supporters won't have to wait long until the next U21 match, with Nicholson's men in league action once again this coming Thursday, hosting Colchester United. This match will again be held at Leckwith Stadium, 2pm kick-off.
