"My favourite YouTube moment from this season is undoubtedly the home mauling of Brighton and Hove Albion back in February.

"It was set up to be one of the most difficult home games of the season but someone forgot to remind Russell Slade’s men who went in front just past the 15-minute mark thanks to a nonchalant finish from midfield maestro Peter Whittingham.

"The Bluebirds doubled their lead just moments later thanks to Anthony Pilkington’s powerful strike and Lex Immers toe-poked home Cardiff’s third.

"Dale Stephens got one back for Brighton, leaving the Bluebirds’ faithful sitting on the edge of their seats due to the team’s lead-blowing habit earlier in the season, but Whittingham put the supporters at ease with his second and Cardiff’s fourth, from the spot.

"This fine performance stands out from the rest because of the sheer determination on show from the boys in blue. It felt like the culmination of a seasons-worth of a hard work and for that, the supporters backed their team to the hilt.

"It really felt like everyone, from the supporters to the players played their part in this stand-out display at Cardiff City Stadium."
