After a solid 2-0 win over Preston North End at Cardiff City Stadium in midweek, the Bluebirds welcome Alex Neil’s Norwich City to the Welsh capital this Saturday.

Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock gave his thoughts to the assembled press and media on what he feels will be a great test for his City side against the Canaries this weekend.

“On paper, you can see Norwich’s squad in the bottom half of the Premier League,” Neil began. “I think it’s a great test for us. I’m glad we’re playing them if I’m honest.

"These are a team who should be going up this year, or very close - and we want to pit our wits against these types of teams now.

“I’m looking forward to the challenges now, these next three games in particular.”

With big games coming thick and fast, the City boss went on to explain how his Bluebirds are a match for anyone in the division now.

“If you had a vote, I don’t think people would want to come and play us, or play us away from home, either,” continued Neil. “We’re still a little bit short of goals, but in every other department we can more than hold our own now.

“The crowd have been fantastic, the support we’ve had from the fans has been incredible.”
