Kevin McNaughton gives unique chance for fans to play with him in benefit game...

In the run up to his benefit match at Cardiff City Stadium this March, Cardiff legend Kevin McNaughton has given the chance for two fans to earn their place in their club’s history and play alongside the Scottish right back and several other Cardiff heroes in his last ever game for the club he gave nine years’ service to.

Considering his well-known relationship with the fans of the club he played with for the majority of his career, Kevin thought there was no better way to pay tribute to the supporters he loves than to invite two on to the pitch with him to share the experience of his farewell to Cardiff City.

To get a chance to be one of two people to rub shoulders with some of the giants of the clubs recent history in front of their friends and family at Cardiff City Stadium fans just need to be at least 18 years old and buy a ticket for the match which kicks off at 3:00pm on the 26th March 2017.

All previous ticket purchasers’ details will also be thrown into the pot from which the names of the two lucky Cardiff players for the day will be drawn a week before the game.

McNaughton said, “Throughout my time spent at Cardiff City I always felt that I had a real connection with the fans, they were the best of any club I have played for.

“The 26th March is going to be an extremely emotional day for me as I say goodbye to the club and city where I saw some of the best times of my career and I want to share that with some of the fans who have supported me so well over the years.

“It’s a great opportunity to give a couple of diehard supporters a once of a lifetime chance to a play on the same pitch that their team play on week in week out, I just hope they don’t outrun me!”

To be entered in the draw, you must be over the age of 18 and purchase a ticket for Saturday's match by 5pm on Thursday 23rd March, 2017.

The winners will be announced on Friday 24th March via official Club channels.

Tickets are on sale from the Cardiff City Ticket Office now, with an early-bird option available. They are, as follows:
