Neil Warnock held a pre-match press conference on Friday morning ahead of Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship trip to Sheffield Wednesday.
Having secured their safe passage through to face Manchester City in Round Four of the Emirates FA Cup, the Bluebirds return to league action in the 5:30pm kick-off at Hillsborough.
“I always get a good rousing reception there…” said Neil. “This is the game I always look forward to.
"The lads won’t start thinking about Manchester City, because they know what Sheffield Wednesday means to me. I hope we can give them a good game.”
The Gaffer also spoke about the loan recruitment of midfielder Marko Grujić, who arrived in the Welsh capital this week.
“He's a good lad and a good player,” continued the Gaffer. “I’m not signing him to make the numbers up. I spoke to him about the Club and the opportunity. You get a feeling about players and as soon as I spoke to him, I thought: ‘You’ll do for me!’
“I think we can be good for him. It’s the World Cup this summer so he’ll want to be fit for that. If we can get him up and running it will be great for all parties.”
