Head Coach Iain Darbyshire is relishing the pre-season challenges and highlighted his aims for the City squad as they prepare for their competitive campaign.

“The six games will be great preparation for the competitive season because we’re playing consistently against different levels of opposition,” began Iain.

“Pre-season is one of the most important parts of the campaign, so we’ve got to get everybody to the level we want them to be at and push on from there.

“We’ll be able to try a lot of things, such as implement the way we want to play, test a few different positions and build-up to the intensity we want to play at.”
