The Bluebirds will begin their 2026/27 Sky Bet Championship season with an all-Welsh clash against Wrexham AFC on Monday, 17th August.
Brian Barry-Murphy’s men will host Wrexham at Cardiff City Stadium, live on Sky Sports, (8pm) to kick off our second tier campaign.
City then travel to Derby County on August 22nd for our first away day of the term, before returning to South Wales to face Sheffield United on August 29th.
The first South Wales derby of the season takes place on November 28th, with the Bluebirds away from home. Swansea City visit the Welsh capital on March 13th.
Similarly, City are away from home for the first Severnside derby of the campaign, on December 19th, with the home fixture against Bristol City scheduled for April 3rd.
Our festive fixtures see the Bluebirds host Millwall on Boxing Day, before travelling to Birmingham City on December 29th and Southampton on New Year's Day.
City’s season will come to a close with a final home fixture against West Bromwich Albion on April 24th, and our last game of the campaign is away at Preston North End on May 1st.
