The Bluebirds maintained their place at the top of the Genero Adran Premier with a 4-2 victory over Barry Town United.
City boss Iain Darbyshire made three changes from the side that beat Pontypridd United, bringing Lily Billingham, Mikayla Cook and Lisa Owen into the starting lineup.
City started brightly and created the first openings, as Mackenzie Olden tested Molly Arnesen with two close-range efforts inside the opening minutes. Barry then began to grow into the contest, with Danielle Broadhurst forcing a save from Gracie Olsen.
After a balanced spell, Megan Bowen tried her luck from distance in the 30th minute, but her effort drifted narrowly wide. Following a period of sustained pressure, City finally broke the deadlock just before the interval, as Fiona Barry’s superb strike from range sailed past Arnesen to give the Bluebirds the lead.
Shortly after the restart, City doubled their advantage, as Olden’s low strike was placed perfectly into the bottom-left corner. Only minutes later, Ffion Price’s delivery from a corner flew directly into the Barry net to make it three.
Olden came close to adding a fourth soon after, but her close-range effort agonisingly cleared the crossbar.
City continued to press forward and were rewarded with a fourth goal when Mikayla Cook found space down the right and squared for substitute Amy Long, who converted from close range.
Barry responded almost immediately, as Ellie Preece and Millie Breen combined to pull one back and reduce the deficit to two.
When the final whistle blew, the Bluebirds had secured another deserved three points - maintaining both their position at the top of the table and their 100% home record this season.

MATCH REACTION | DARBYSHIRE & PRICE
After the full-time whistle, head coach Iain Darbyshire said: “I thought we had patches where we showed our quality. There’s a little bit of inconsistency in our play at the moment, which we’ll look to work through, but all in all, I’m happy with the three points and we move on to the next game.
“We were very demanding at half-time. We showed them some clips of the spaces that were there that we didn’t quite take advantage of in the first half. I think they started on fire after the break. In the first half, we left so many chances out there that we should’ve been clear at half-time.
“But full credit to Barry - they dug in, they made it uncomfortable for us at times. They had a really good low block and tried to hit us on the counterattack, and it was effective at times. But when we turn it on, we’re so effective and so dangerous.
“Every game is a learning experience. We know teams are going to set up defensively against us and try to hit us on the counter, and that can be frustrating. We’re learning to deal with that frustration better, and hopefully, going forward, we can continue to win and improve.”
Ffion Price, who scored her first goal of the season, added: “That was a really good performance from the girls. We were clinical in front of goal and it’s just another push forward.
"In the first half, we had plenty of chances but just didn’t take them. We regrouped at half-time, came back together, and in the second half, we showed our quality and put them away. It just shows the character and resilience in the squad.
"Over the next few weeks, of course with Flint and Swansea coming up, we’re taking each game as it comes. We’re not going to think ahead. We’ll prepare this week for Flint and look to put on a good show, then focus on Swansea next. We’re just taking one game at a time at the moment.
