The Bluebirds travel to Hillsborough to take on Sheffield Wednesday in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday, January 6th, 5.30pm KO.

Tickets for this fixture will be available to purchase until 1pm on Friday, January 5th. Tickets will not be available to purchase on the matchday at the away ground.

Collections and duplicates can be collected from the collection booth next to the away turnstiles at Sheffield Wednesday.

Please note that away supporters will be housed in the West Lower Tier as unreserved seating. Turnstile entrances and Match Tickets will remain the same, but when entering the stadium, rather than going up the stairs, supporters will be directed to the Lower Tier.

Travel Tips

Travelling by car from the Cardiff City Stadium to the home of the Owls will take approximately four hours, via the M50, M5, M42, M1 and M18. The sat-nav postcode is S6 1SW.

There are several car parking options close to the stadium. Supporters should note that some surrounding road parking to the stadium operates a permit-only system.

The Wednesdayite car park is located directly behind the Spion Kop and club shop. The price for the car park is £7.

There are also several unofficial car parks along the A61. Meadowhall train station offers free parking, with fans then taking a tram to the stadium, which takes around 30 minutes.

If travelling by train from Cardiff Central, the journey to Sheffield will take approximately three-and-a-half hours. Services vary from requiring changes at either Bristol Parkway, Birmingham New Street or Stockport.

Hillsborough is three miles from Sheffield Train Station, with bus or tram the best options to arrive. Several buses services stop at Penistone Road, which is a two-minute walk to the stadium.

Sheffield Train Station is also minutes away on foot from Sheffield city centre, where a yellow tram will stop at Leppings Lane, which it only two minutes from the away end.

Away supporters are housed in the West Stand, the Leppings Lane side of the stadium. Away fans should enter the stadium through turnstiles 20-22.

Food and drink will be available in the concourse at Hillsborough on Saturday.

The matchday concourses at Hillsborough are cashless, with only card transactions accepted as a form of payment.

A pub that admits away supporters is the Railway Hotel on Penniston Road, which is the main A61 that runs by the stadium.
