TRAVEL TIPS

By Car: The car journey from Cardiff City Stadium to the home of the Latics will take approximately four hours, via the M5 and M6. The postcode for the Brick Community Stadium is WN5 0UH.

Parking: Away supporters are advised to park in Car Park 1 outside the Brick Community Stadium, which is priced at £7 for cars, £13 for minibuses and £24 for coached. Payment is card only on matchday. Parking is available to pre-book here.

By Train: The train journey from Cardiff Central to Wigan North Western takes approximately three hours and 45 minutes. The journey requires a change in Crewe. The train station is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the ground, or an £8 taxi fare.

By Bus: GMPT / South Lancs Travel operate a number of bus services (601-604) to and from Wigan Bus Station, which has several stops on Robin Park Road, a two-minute walk from the Brick Community Stadium. The 641 bus runs down Robin Park Road. The 604 and 603 buses run near the cinema at the end of Montrose Avenue, which is also a two-minute walk away from the ground. Several buses from Wigan Town Centre pass through Newtown, which is a 5-10 minute walk from the Brick Community Stadium. These includee 601, 602, 603, 604, 610, 611, 640, 641, 352, 375 and 385.

AWAY END

The Brick Community Stadium, built in 1999, has a capacity of 25,133.

Away fans are situated in the Calisen North Stand. The hosts offer a facility for visiting fans called 'The Marquee' which is under the North Stand. Up to 450 fans can be accommodated in this lounge and entry is upon producted of a valid away match ticket. Within this facility, hot food and beverages may be purchased, with licensed bars and a big screen television showing sporting events. 

Visiting supporters are permitted to bring one drum into the stadium. However, prior notice must be given by emailing d.winnard@wiganathletic.com in advance of the fixture. Please note that the drum will be subject to a security search upon entry.

Flags without poles are permitted, provided they meet fire safety regulations; however, they must not cover sponsor banners, and supporters are asked to follow the instructions of stewards regarding their placement.

PIES AND PINTS

The Brick Community Stadium is positioned adjacent to Robin Retail Park, which is home to seveal food and drink options. Within Next is Costa Coffee, whilst Burger King, KFC, Greggs, Nando's and Subway are at the far side of the retail park. 

The Red Robin pub is approximately 500 yards from the stadium and is welcoming to all supporters, but is mainly used by away fans.

There are mobile food vendors located around the Brick Community Stadium. Within the stadium concourses, there are food and drink kiosks that serve a variety of hot and cold snacks and drinks.

Once the turnstiles open, the kiosks will be available for fans. Please not that the stadium is fully cashless.
