Brian Barry-Murphy spoke to the press after the Bluebirds picked up their second league victory of the season with an emphatic 3-0 win against Rotherham United.
“Today I thought the performance from the team was very good." Brian began. "A lot of the focus will be on how we press from the front, to try and protect the defenders and I suppose deal with as few attacks as possible.
"There were moments where Dylan [Lawlor] and Will [Fish] had to defend the box, in the moments where the balls came into the box. I thought they did really well, supported by Nathan [Trott] as well as both fullbacks.
"I was very pleased at the moment when Rubin [Colwill] scored; we've seen a lot of spectacular goals from him, but to see him score so close to the goal is important for us. It was a real team goal; playing high pressure and forcing Rotherham into a mistake so close to the goal is a lot of what we work on."

Dakarai Mafico made his First Team debut but, on a yellow card, was replaced in the first half, with Brian explaining the thought process behind the decision.
He said: “Dak made his debut, because I didn't want to risk Joel Bagan based on the fact that he didn't train yesterday. Dakarai has been outstanding in pre-season for us, so he was naturally the next option to play left back.
"I didn't want him to have his debut where he was possibly going to receive a red card. I thought his yellow card was quite harsh, and they had a particularly dangerous attack on that side, and so to expose him to that would have been dangerous.
"We were so dominant in the game, so I didn't want to risk it. Also, he's an exceptional player, but he's never played left back before I came to the Club. He's an elite number 6, and when you see him play there, it'll be clear to you how good he is.
"The reaction from the supporters was really important, because I suppose not everyone will be aware that he's a natural midfield player. He shows courage in everything he does, he's an incredible talent, and one the supporters are going to fall in love with once they see him play more.”

The boss concluded by giving his thoughts on City's upcoming test away at AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday evening.
“I’ve been to the stadium a few times, I think they’re really strong at home,” Barry explained. “We have to show that we can go to these grounds away from home and be much more competitive than we were against Port Vale.
“I thought the supporters were brilliant. They were very patient with us last Thursday and I thought it was really great to feel that. I would just hope that they have seen signs of what we can achieve.
"We need to show that we have improved from what we did at Port Vale to what we do at Wimbledon, in what is going to be a hostile and high level test.”
