Calum Chambers has been appointed as captain of Cardiff City Football Club ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Chambers takes the armband following the departure of Club legend Joe Ralls earlier this summer, with Rubin Colwill named as the Bluebirds’ new vice-captain.
Calum joined the Club in the summer of 2024 and played an important role in both defence and midfield last term, making 42 appearances and scoring two goals, including a Goal of the Season contender against Middlesbrough.
A boyhood Bluebird, Academy graduate Rubin made his First Team debut back in 2021, and has since featured 155 times for the Club, scoring 14 goals with ten assists.
