CARDIFF CITY WOMEN 4-1 BRIDGWATER UNITED WOMEN
The Bluebirds began pre-season with an impressive performance against Bridgwater United.
First half goals from Gillian Keenan and Mackenzie Olden put City in the driving seat, with two XIs being selected for each half.
Olden returned to the field on the hour mark and netted her second, before a trialist added a fourth late on.
PLYMOUTH ARGYLE WOMEN 0-3 CARDIFF CITY WOMEN
Our second game in pre-season entailed an away clash against Plymouth Argyle at Foulston Park.
City took the lead in fine fashion, with summer recruit Kate Oakley cutting inside from the left and firing in.
The second half saw the Bluebirds add another two goals to the tally, coming through a trialist and a second for Oakley.
EXETER CITY WOMEN 2-1 CARDIFF CITY WOMEN
The Bluebirds continued preparations for the new campaign with a narrow 2-1 defeat at Exeter City's Exwick Sports Hub.
Our hosts took the lead early on but Noah Bushby's side produced a positive performance from that point onwards, deservedly equalising through a sublime Ffion Price free-kick.
With the Grecians regaining their lead after the break, City's showing was full of positives to build on.
CARDIFF CITY WOMEN 3-3 TORQUAY UNITED WOMEN
Bushby's side then faced Torquay United and looked dangerous in front of goal, with Lily Billingham scoring a first half brace.
As the two sides went into the interval level, striker Haile Richards then put City 3-2 in front with an excellent finish.
Despite being on top for much of the second period, the visitors added a late leveller to claim a draw.
