We are delighted to announce the arrival of striker Haile Richards, who becomes our sixth addition of the summer.
Haile joins with great pedigree having represented Spanish sides Villajoyosa CF and Elche CF, along with Portuguese outfit SC Rio Tinto.
Having also spent time in the English system with Oaklands Wolves, Biggleswade United, Rising Ballers, Cambridge City and Charlton Athletic U21s.
During her most recent spell with SC Rio Tinto, she scored 13 goals in 23 appearances.
Haile's signing follows the additions of Ella Hilliard, TJ Gauvain, Anna Houghton, Kate Oakley and Gillian Keenan.
Speaking following her signing, Haile said: 'I'm so excited to join a big club like Cardiff City. I've been training with the squad for the last few weeks and I've been welcomed into the group. As a player, I'm a hard working striker who likes to link up with my teammates and score as many goals as I can.
"Playing in this league will be a new experience for me. I'm so excited to get going and play in front of our fans in a Cardiff City shirt."
Head coach Noah Bushby added: "Haile is another exciting addition to our squad. She is a talented finisher who also works incredibly hard off the ball. With plenty of experience and ability already there, she can develop her game even further in a Cardiff City shirt.
"Looking at our attacking options, we want to have variation and Haile is a different type of striker to what we currently have. She will compliment our other attacking players really well and as a unit, they have the potential to have a really strong season and get our fans off their seats."
