Seren Thomas and Madison Lloyd have signed semi-professional contracts with the Bluebirds.
The duo spent the opening months of the 2025/26 campaign at Pontypridd United, where they gained experience of the Adran Premier.
Both impressed with consistent performances and will now link up with Iain Darbyshire's squad ahead of an important upcoming schedule.
Seren and Madison are eligible to feature in all competitions for the Bluebirds.
Commenting on her contract, Seren said: "I am absolutely buzzing to sign a semi-professional contract with Cardiff City. Moving to the U19s last season alone was amazing, so I’m beyond thrilled to achieve this during my second season here, especially since following the Club from a young age. I can’t wait for what the future holds for me here.
"Although the results didn’t go our way, I think being at Pontypridd United really developed not only mine but the team’s confidence over the course of Phase One, as we saw big improvements in our performances and game structure despite not earning any points.
"From the first day of training, everyone welcomed me and the staff were constantly supportive.
"Game time against top opposition in the Adran Premier is essential to my development, and I proved that I am able to compete physically with the most experienced of the league. Playing against some of the best players the league has seen is inspiring and makes me really excited for my future."
Striker Madison, who netted 12 goals in 16 matches during her spell at Pontypridd United, added: "My time there was great. I was a bit apprehensive at first coming back from injury but settled in quickly and enjoyed my time there. They have good coaches, players and facilities and with a bit more time, they will be a strong team in the league.
"While I was out, I got to see and read games better. With the gametime I've had at Pontypridd United, I had chance to build up my confidence, showcase my learnings, help others and get a few goals along the way.
"I am chuffed to bits to be signing a semi-professional contract with Cardiff City. It’s a bit surreal to be honest, my journey with the Club has been amazing. I've been here from U16s and did not have a lot of self belief. But the support I've had from the coaches, family and friends helped me grow the confidence needed to get through those moments and got me where I am today. I can't wait to be back in blue scoring goals again."
