TJ Gauvain has been added to City Women's squad, becoming our third addition of the summer.
The centre-back brings quality and experience having previously represented Bristol Rovers and Gwalia United.
There are familiar faces for TJ within the City squad. She has already played alongside Ella Hilliard and Lily Billingham.
Hilliard returned to the Bluebirds this summer while winger Gillian Keenan has also been added to the squad.
Upon signing for City, TJ told Cardiff City TV: “It’s a real privilege. I used to come down to the stadium all the time when I was younger to watch Cardiff City. It feels like an honour to be putting on the shirt and playing for this Club.
“I’m a loud player. I love defending, tackling and winning so I’ll do anything I can to achieve that for the team. Hopefully I’ll be an exciting player for our fans to watch.”
Head Coach Noah Bushby added: “TJ is another strong addition for us. We’ve been delighted with all three signings we have made so far this summer and feel they will add a lot to a squad that is already full of talent.
“TJ is a great defender but is also a fierce competitor. We’re excited to see her bring her quality to the Adran Premier and perform in a Cardiff City shirt.”
