Lansdowne Primary School Wins Digital Competition

On June 7th, Lansdowne Primary School in Cardiff enjoyed a visit to Cardiff City Stadium, thanks to Iraj, a Year 6 pupil, who won the Cardiff City FC Community Foundation's 'No Room for Racism Creative Competition.'

Her achievement earned her class and peers a special prize, allowing them to visit CCS for a tour and participate in a coaching session with Cardiff City FC Community Foundation coaches.

The day was filled with excitement as the pupils went behind-the-scenes at Cardiff City Stadium. Iraj's success not only provided a unique opportunity for her classmates but also inspired her peers with the possibilities that dedication and creativity can bring!

Year 6 pupils from Raglan Junior Schools, Enfield, were warmly welcomed by the Community Foundation on their school leavers sports tour. The visit included a stadium tour, a coaching session with Community Foundation coaches and a friendly tournament with local primary schools.

Raglan Schools have been joining us for several years, allowing us to showcase the spirit of Cardiff's football scene and reward school children for their hard work throughout the year.

We offer a range of unique Cardiff City-inspired experiences for junior Bluebirds. Our coaching sessions are tailored to meet the demands of your team, accommodating both girls and boys. Book a club training day here.

Recapping the Community Foundation's Annual Impact Celebration

Cardiff City FC Community Foundation’s Annual Impact Celebration back in April helped mark the release of their 2022/23 Impact Report - a document that showcases the work they’ve been doing across our communities and the moving stories behind it.

A beneficiary-led event, Grace Evans and Grace Snell - two learners on the Foundation Degree in Community Football Coaching and Development, guided guests through their Hat-Trick of Goals and held a Q&A with our stakeholders, volunteers, staff, participants and delivery partners.

Take a look at our 2024 Impact Celebration Recap video below, which highlights some key takeaways from the day.
