Isaak Davies spoke with the press following the 6-1 victory over Cork City on Tuesday evening.
The forward played the second 45 minutes of the match, scoring twice.
"I thought it was a good game and a good test," Isaak began. "It was nice to be back playing.
"Pre-season is for minutes and for everyone to get sharp."
The Bluebirds have enjoyed their time in Cork so far, with a number of training days and Tuesday night’s fixture.
Isaak continued: "It's been lovely. We've got all of the facilities we can ask for.
"We've had a couple of days of training and it's been really good. Hopefully it continues."
The Academy graduate finished with a few words on the amazing City fanbase.
"Since I've been in the First Team our fans have been the same everywhere we go. They always come out in their numbers.
"The support doesn't go unnoticed. We really appreciate them."
