City boss Brian Barry-Murphy spoke with the press following the 2-2 draw with Derby County on Saturday afternoon.
Despite suffering a number of injury concerns going into the game, the Bluebirds put in a dogged performance, twice taking the lead in an exciting encounter.
"The players who played today did a great job and I'm pleased and proud of the performance,” Brian began. "We came here to try and win, try and go for the game and be as aggressive as possible. We don’t set up for any match playing for a draw. We want more. We have to for ourselves and our fanbase.
"We felt the best form of defence for us was attack and have the ball as long as possible and the players certainly did that.
"We created a lot of meaningful chances in the first half. They have a really good team and manager and create chances that are difficult to defend.
"It was a little bit disappointing we couldn't get the win. But to get a point was pleasing."
BBM gave an update on Rubin Colwill and Jack Moylan, with both creative players leaving the game early.
"We have to be mindful of how often Rubin can play considering how little he's trained. It's good to have him back.
"We believe Jack has a dead leg. The way Jack plays the game there is going to be a lot of contact made. He'll be fine."
While it was a second draw in a row, the Bluebirds remain unbeaten in the Sky Bet Championship during the 2026/27 season, with two strong performances and two well earned points.
Brian concluded: "There were probably times in the second half today where we could've attacked more but we weren't able to.
"I'm very pleased with the players but we feel we can improve a lot too and we will.
"I'm glad we came away with something for our amazing support."
