Cardiff City FC are pleased to announce a new two-year partnership with Welsh bookmaker DragonBet, who will sponsor the back of the Bluebirds’ First Team playing shirts this season.
DragonBet is a proudly Welsh, family-run betting company with deep roots in the heart of Cardiff. Founded by generations of bookmakers with a passion for sport and a commitment to fair, responsible gambling, DragonBet combines traditional values with modern technology to deliver a unique, locally focused betting experience.
DragonBet place enormous emphasis on creating the safest and most responsible betting environment possible. For them, gambling should be fun — and they’re committed to keeping it that way. However, they also recognise that a small minority of people can experience harm, and believe it’s their duty to support those at risk.
That’s why they proudly support charities such as the Welsh-based gambling harm organisation Deal Me Out, to which they contribute a proportion of their income. This forms part of their wider commitment to regularly backing initiatives that protect, educate, and assist those affected by gambling-related harm.
As a business built by lifelong Cardiff City fans, DragonBet is passionate about supporting Welsh sport at every level — from grassroots to the professional stage.

David Lovell, Co-Founder of DragonBet, said: “DragonBet is a proud, family-run business born and bred in Cardiff. Teaming up with Cardiff City is more than a partnership, it's a moment of pride for all of the team at DragonBet. We couldn’t be more excited to stand alongside the Bluebirds and back our hometown club.”
Huw Warren, Head of Commercial at Cardiff City FC, added: “We’re delighted to see DragonBet come on board as an Official Partner of the Club for the 2025/26 season. As a local business with deep connections to our capital city, I’m excited to see the DragonBet logo on the City shirts over the coming months, and I look forward to developing this partnership as the season progresses.”
