We are pleased to announce that Eli King has signed a contract extension with Cardiff City.
Eli has put pen to paper on an agreement that will see the midfielder remain in the Welsh capital until the summer of 2027.
An Academy graduate who first joined at U8 level, Eli made his First Team debut in 2021, and has enjoyed loan spells at clubs such as Ross County and Stevenage in recent seasons.
Eli will continue his recovery from injury with his boyhood Club in the coming months, as he looks forward to a return to playing in time for next season.

Speaking to Cardiff City TV, Eli said: “It’s a good feeling, and it’s nice to get it done. Obviously, the way the season started for me and the injury was really frustrating, but this gives me a bit of inspiration and motivation to come back and get fit.
“You miss it even more when you see how the boys are playing. You sometimes feel like you’re missing out a bit, but like I said it gives you that motivation and I’m excited for it.
“I’m really looking forward to being a part of the next pre-season, which will hopefully be in the league above!”
Brian Barry-Murphy added: “We are incredibly happy that Eli has extended his contract as he continues his recovery from his knee injury.
“This contract extension is a measure of how much he means to us and how much we believe in him.”
